Artemide - Falkland floor lamp
Falkland floor è una lampada da terra la cui forma nasce dalla tensione di un tubo di filanca e dal peso di alcuni anelli metallici: è una forma spontanea, generata unicamente dalla tensione delle forze interne che la compongono. Sette anelli di metallo di diametri diversi, un tubo di tessuto, una sola lampadina e un riflettore in alluminio che asseconda la forma delle curve del tessuto.
Bruno Munari
Bruno Munari (1907-1998) was one of the greatest protagonists of art, design and graphics of the '900. He has always dedicated his creative activity to experimentation, with special attention to the world of children and their games. Without ever separating the dimension of content from those of form and material, he designed books, object books and games-for-thinking at the same time. His creations in the fields of painting, sculpture, design, photography and didactics through the different poetics following the thread of his personal originality.
Founded in 1960 by Ernesto Gismondi, chairman, the Artemide Group is located in Pregnana Milanese.
