Magis - Lost floor lamp L H140

Emptiness is the emblem of Lost, the first collection of lamps by Magis that focuses on the perfection of the circle in an essential graphic play. BrogliatoTraverso replace the classic lampshade with a circle only 2 cm thick, which hides an LED light source. The result is a homogeneous and continuous illumination along the entire circumference, completed by a simple stem. Available in pendant, floor, ceiling/wall and table versions, Lost becomes an archetype of Studio BrogliatoTraverso's distinctive 'no time, no space' design: a purist, timeless design that fits into any context. Almost invisible, yet with character, Lost transforms emptiness into magic and draws a dreamlike, contemporary atmosphere.

Brogliato Traverso

Both graduates from the University of Architecture in Venice, Alberto Brogliato and Federico Traverso founded the Brogliato Traverso design studio after embarking on journeys and personal experiences that enriched their personal and professional backgrounds, such as exploring the art of glassmaking in Murano and studying traditional ceramics in Japan.
The philosophy that defines the Brogliato Traverso studio is encapsulated in the motto 'neither time nor space'. This personal design method defines the desire to create objects with a timeless and acontextual style. The two professionals therefore work by subtraction, developing a sign that is rich in detail but almost imperceptible. Through their designs, they create an intimate and profound empathy with the user and the surrounding space, respecting both. Like the Newood family of chairs, created by BrogliatoTraverso for Cappellini, where forms are elegantly whispered. This vision and constant passion for research and innovation have earned the BrogliatoTraverso studio numerous international awards, including the Red Dot Design Award, the German Design Award, the iF Design Award and the Good Design Award.
