Mogg – Once Upon a Light floor/ceiling lamp

A lamp, a quote, a sleight of hand where your book, the favorite book of its user becomes the lampshade, comfortably housed on the appropriate metal lectern. Once Upon a Light is a floor/ceiling lamp made of chromed metal structure with steel cable, base in Carrara marble or Marquina Nera.

Emanuele Magini

Born in Arezzo in 2003, he participated in the eleventh Biennial of young Mediterranean artists in Athens. After completing his studies at the Bezalel Academy in Jerusalem, he graduated in industrial design at the Politecnico di Milano with a thesis on holiday semiotics. He has worked at numerous architectural and design studios. He has worked on set design and set design collaborating with Disney Italy and has taught at private institutes.

MOGG srl is a new furniture company, which opens its doors at the Salone del Mobile in Milan 2012. Company was born from the desire of its founder, the architect Nicola Galbiati. MObili (furniture) OGGetti (objects), hence the name MOGG:a versatile design expression that comes alive in impactful and distinctive products. Graphic cuts opposed to curved lines, warm materials combined with those cold, dynamism and versatility characterize the production. The naturalness is the hallmark of Mogg when everything is studied in detail. Today Mogg is distributed all around the world by the support of 25 agents.
