Rosenthal - Zauberfloete Sarastro plate 33 cm
Snakes, fowlers, princes and queens of the night: Bjørn Wiinblad has translated Mozart's opera "The Magic Flute" into a porcelain collection. Detailed and lovingly crafted figures, flowers, plants and ornaments adorn the surface of the precious porcelain, in the form of unglazed reliefs. Entire scenes are depicted on the very wide edges of the plates, thanks to which the designer has put his experience as a set designer and costume designer to good use. Magic flute uses an extremely thin and light material, an exciting combination of matte and glossy surfaces and a finely drawn relief.
