LPWK Design Studio
With the establishment of the CS Alessi, Laura Polinoro had the opportunity to gain experience with a new design method for the new collections. A methodology based on 'metaproject' and laboratories. Later, in 2000, she founded LPWK Design Studio, which allows her to continue experimenting and improving the metaproject method through international workshops. Since 2016, there is a new creation: TWIRL. This project allows to expand the possibilities of the metaproject exploiting the unlimited virtual space and developing new concepts taking into account the new lifestyle, needs and languages. It also offers those who want to communicate their ideas the opportunity to provide useful input in the creative process, thanks to Social Networks.
Twirl is a place on the web where projects, coincidences, meetings, memories are all on display in a single environment of continuous creativity, comparison and dialogue. It is a meeting between past and present in one of the most innovative working relationships of the Italian design system, the one that LPWK has been having with Alessi since 1990.
