Five Seasons is a complete collection of objects designed by Marcel Wanders. The scented candles The Five Seasons enclose the olfactory suggestions of nature in an elegant porcelain container and is completed by an ash wood lid that can also be used as a base on which to place the candle. Each candle is available in two sizes and in five different fragrances. Made with vegetable-based wax, produced in Italy, and wick in cotton and linen.

Marcel Wanders

Marcel Wanders, born in Boxtel in 1963, graduated from the Art Institute of Arnhem and opened a studio in Amsterdam in 1995. It gained critical attention in 1996, thanks to its iconic Knotted Chair chair, which integrates high-tech materials and "smart" production techniques.
He’s a particularly prolific designer, as well as artistic director of over 1700 projects for private clients and prestigious brands like Magis, Alessi, Flos and others. Considered by many an exception in the world of design, the designer’s mission is to "create an environment of love, live with passion and make our most beautiful dreams come true." In his creations Marcel often mixes innovative materials and techniques with references to historical styles and well-defined archetypes, so that the user can easily get in touch with the product, enjoying it for a long time and, thus, creating a sustainable environment. Marcel’s main goal is to bring a human touch to design, accompanying it in what he defines the new era of design, in which designers, artisans and users come together. In 2001 Marcel was co-founder of the design brand Moooi, of which he is also artistic director. Interior projects have become increasingly important in Marcel’s work, undertaken because they allow users to offer a real sensory experience. Many of Marcel’s projects have been selected for the most important design collections and exhibitions around the world, such as the Museums of Modern Art in New York and San Francisco, the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam and the Boijmans van Beuningen Museum in Rotterdam.

Alessi founded in 1921 as a Workshop for the processing of brass and nickel-silver plates, with foundry, it is recognized for the high quality of its products. In nearly a century of history it has gradually evolved to become a leading exponent of the "Factories of Italian design".
