Molteni - Scrivania Note; Il progetto nasce dalla volontà di creare un prodotto contemporaneo ma essenziale, molto ricercato nei dettagli estetici e tecnici, che esaltano tutta la maestria della lavorazione del legno tanto cara a Molteni&C. Il piano di scrittura, posizionato assimetricamente, rispetto alla struttura, è dotato di due vassoi scavati direttamente nel piano stessi, di cui quello centrale ha un rivestimento in cuoio. La parte posteriore è caratterizzata da un pronunciata curvatura del legno che permette l’alloggiamento di piccoli cassetti rivestiti anch’essi in cuoio. Le gambe, realizzate grazie ad una complessa tecnica di lavorazione tridimensionale del legno, sono scavate su tre lati. Il risultato è un prodotto in equilibrio tra essenzialità
ed eleganza, un prodotto moderno e lineare ma allo stesso tempo raffinato e ricco di dettagli di alta ebanisteria.

Matteo Nunziati

Matteo Nunziati, born in Bologna in 1972, opened his own studio in Milan in 2000. The Nunziati Studio carries out interior architecture and design, collaborating with leading furniture, lighting and object design companies. He is one of the most influential designers of his generation. Specialized in luxury hotels, wellness centers, SPAs and residential projects, Matteo Nunziati over the years has implemented projects in Italy, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, India, Maldives, China, USA.

Particularly important the collaboration with the Trump Organization, world’s leading company in the real estate sector. Moreover the project is one of the most prestigious properties in India, winner of the NDTV Property Awards.

His most outstanding residiential projects are the Bosco Verticale penthouse in Milan winner of the prestigious Royal Institute of British Award (RIBA) 2018 for International Excellence. It is also important the skyscraper in New York at 432 Park Avenue, which is considered one of the most prestigious residential buildings in the world and the most expensive one thanks to the sale of one apartment for 95 million USD.

His projects, usually chosen from the excellence production of Made in Italy design, have been published in the major Italian and international magazines.

Moreover, in parallel to his work as an architect, Matteo Nunziati collaborates with some of the most prestigious design brands: Molteni & C., Poliform, Flou, Lema, I 4 Mariani, Fiam, Fontana Arte, La Murrina, Rapsel, Tonon, Lualdi Porte, Listone Giordano, Florim.

He has received a large number of prestigious awards for the design he designed, such as Chicago Good Design Award, Wallpaper Design Award, Reddot Design Award. We also mention: Elle Deco International Design Awards, London Design Award, IDA Design Award.

Finally, we also mention international teaching experiences at: Domus Academy, la National Taipei University of Technology, l’IDI Interior Design Institute di Milano e la Tshinghua University di Shenzhen in China.

Molteni

Angelo Molteni, born in 1912, began his entrepreneurial activity in Giussano, now the province of Monza and Brianza, the furniture district. His workshop becomes, in a short time, synonymous with high quality product. The 60s began in the best way, in fact Angelo Molteni is in the founding committee of the first Salone del Mobile in Milan, which opened on 24 September 1961 with great success. This is the decade of the revolution: in a few months, the production is converted from classic to modern, to create well-designed furniture, designed for the series. Luca Meda, a student of the Ulm School, is the man of the revolution, his Iride containers presented at the Salone del Mobile in 1968. From the 70s until today, Molteni grows, is renewed and concretizes in a definitive way its value, and the undisputed style in the world panorama. In 2008 the distribution expanded beyond the Italian borders and was structured with foreign branches. New molteni&c | Dada monobrand stores are opening: about 600 in the world, including 40 Flagship Stores, also present in the largest international design metropolises such as London and New York. Moltenigroup.com is born, the web address of the new website of the Molteni Group. Key words are narration, inspiration, contemporaneity of molteni&c and Dada brands. As of April 2016, Belgian architect and designer Vincent Van Duysen has been appointed creative director of molteni&c and Dada. After the success of the Gliss Master wardrobe collection, the new collaboration focuses on image coordination and the retail concept.
