Ante Cybus, together with Retro Cybus, is a diptych by Belgian artist Guy Buseyne. It shows two individuals pushing heavy-looking blocks. Guy Buseyne
Guy Buseyne (1961) is a sculptor born and living in Belgium, skilled manufacturer of furniture and graphics. He trained in Plastic Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts of the city of Bruges. Buseyne’s work consists of sculptures depicting human beings in a society subject to multiple challenges, natural and man-made disasters, and trying to overcome them. The facial expressions in his projects are undefined, which enhances the universal character of the pieces and arouses a greater sense of identification in the viewer.
The Belgian company was founded in 1999, with a mission to spread new ideas and perspectives through works of art with strong decorative power.
