Wiener GTV Design Thonet - Yvette headboard black Thonet Testiera Letto Yvette struttura in Faggio nero decoro in paglia di Vienna longho design palermo

Chiara Andreatti has drawn heavily on the decorative forms of the Belle Époque for her YVETTE headboard, which combines subtle femininity with a bold creative spark. With an eclectic freshness to its graphic style, YVETTE catches the eye for its curved profiling in black lacquered wood and black tubular metal, which creates a delicate pattern on the wall. The upholstered central panel brings softness to the design, counterbalancing the round decoration in woven cane, which is synonymous with the brand.

Chiara Andreatti

After graduating in Industrial Design from the IED in 2003 and completing a master's degree at the Domus Academy, he worked with Raffaella Mangiarotti and Renato Montagner. From 2006 to 2017 he worked for Lissoni Associati, following independent projects in parallel. His continuous aesthetic research aims to combine the typical craft culture of his Venetian roots with industrial design in the idea that a poetic touch can enrich everyday objects.

Truly original, up-to-date solutions that integrate well with the more classic products of its catalogue, now reworked.Items such as chair No. 14, of which more than 50 million were made between 1850 and 1930, have gone down in history for their fine design and manufacturing quality, and yet still today excite and attract new generations. GTV always succeeds in finding the perfect combination of tradition and innovation, assisted by continuous research into new, clear-cut, versatile designs. The tangible and intangible intrinsic value of the GTV collection is expressed in the Wiener GTV Design brand, engraved on a coin embedded in the structure of each single piece: a precious detail that certifies authenticity, originality and quality in stable balance between manufacturing and high-level craftsmanship. Inspiring this unique detail was the coin with the image of the brand that was historically spent internally within Thonet production facilities throughout Europe.
