Knindustrie  – Garçon square tray red

In the Rodolfo Dordoni collection of trays for KnIndustrie, folded steel has a dual function: decorative and functional, that is to contain. The edge looks like a semi-cylinder with an essential design and a clean shape given by the completely smooth appearance of the steel. The edge, leitmotif of the collection, represents the distinctive trait of the three serving trays, available in the cream-colored rectangular, red-colored square and pentagonal versions.

Rodolfo Dordoni

Born in Milan in 1954, Rodolfo Dordoni graduated in architecture in 1979. From 1979 to 1989 he was responsible for the artistic direction and coordination of the corporate image of Cappellini International. It has a wide repertoire of product design types, which includes lamps and furniture, kitchens, bathroom accessories, objects and carpets. He is also responsible for the artistic direction of Artemide, Cappellini (from 1979 to 1989), Fontana Arte, Foscarini (lamps), Minotti (from 1998) and Roda (from 2006). Today he designs for various companies, including: Artemide, Cassina, Driade, Emu, Ernestomeda, Fiam, Flos, Flou, Fontana Arte, Foscarini, Minotti, Molteni, Moroso, Roda, Venini and many others. He founded Dordoni Architetti in collaboration with the architects Alessandro Acerbi and Luca Zaniboni. Since she has worked in her studio for many years, they focus on both architectural design and interior design. They also design houses and residential buildings worldwide, industrial and commercial areas such as offices, shops and showrooms, restaurants, hotels, as well as many exhibition stands for different companies in different sectors.
