Paolo castelli - Selima console
With this procedure the pore of the wood is deliberately left open allowing the essence to maintain its natural appearance. The console profiles are embellished with matt champagne laminated leather inserts.
Paolo Castelli, Thierry Lemaire and Hubert de Malherbe give life to Greenkiss, the first collection of eco-inspired design furniture, 100% Made in Italy. Products that not only express the importance of the functional and aesthetic aspect of the furniture, but emphasize the value and charm of how an ethical design must become the engine of a renewed positive sense and empathy towards the "resource" environment. Greenkiss offers a wide range of sustainable furniture to fully embrace the company’s green philosophy. The line consists of tables, sofas, armchairs, chairs, consoles, cabinets and lighting, and is inspired by the Italian and French design of the fifties and seventies of the last century. An ethical collection, the result of the creativity of the three designers, which focuses on the quality of materials regenerated, recovered or the result of a controlled chain is enhanced by geometric lines, graphic details and asymmetric proportions, according to an ironic, creative, Back and forth between art and interior design. The elegance of the Paolo Castelli brand meets surprising materials and embraces new expressive languages.
Paolo Castelli, Thierry Lemaire e Hubert de Malherbe
Directed to design for cultural training and natural passion, Paolo Castelli begins to design successful products for the family company - Domodinamica - which first enters with management role and then acquires with the Paolo Castelli SPA.
The love for design combined with the entrepreneurial vision of the entire product cycle, allow Paolo Castelli to conceive collections and pieces where the creative part is always accompanied by a concrete approach aimed at finding the best technical and aesthetic solutions.
Architect, interior designer, Thierry Lemaire is above all an aesthete. In the last twenty years it has successfully completed the renovation of luxury apartments and private houses, transmitting to each location its strong and identifiable signature. Passionate about 20th and 21st century decorative arts, a curious talent scout, in 2017 he opened the homonymous gallery in Paris to show his bespoke furniture, together with the work of different artists, in osmosis with his universe.
Hubert de Malherbe founded Malherbe Paris in 1993. This first independent creative agency has focused on retail design and architecture with a wide range of skills ranging from the world of fashion and luxury to hotels, airports and shopping centers. In the late 2000s, the rapidly expanding agency opened two more offices, in Shanghai and Hong Kong, with acclaimed success around the world. Malherbe Paris projects have extended to an even wider variety of projects: from architecture, furniture, aeronautics, wine and spirits, to a deep passion for the environment. With around 180 employees, the spirit of start-up is still intact. Malherbe Paris has learned to retain all her skillful imaginative creativity. A demanding and ultra-modern aesthetic that combines a legendary intuition with French elegance.
