Zanotta - Tod red coffee table
od is totally made of glossy lacquered rotational moulded polypropylene. In its form there is a functional role: it stretches upwards to occupy less physical and visual space. Its organic line also serves as a visual link between the floor and the floor surface.
This organicity contrasts the usual rectangular shapes of the other elements of the furniture to which it is placed side by side. This is why the coffee table was designed thinking not alone but always next to something else.
Todd Bracher
Born in 1974 in New York, he graduated with honors in Industrial Design at the Pratt Institute in New York in 1996. After more than 10 years working as a Senior Designer at architectural studios in Copenhagen, Milan, Paris and London, he returned to New York where he founded his studio.
His works concern different environments: from architecture to design objects for the home, from consumer products, to the design of shops and exhibition spaces. His projects, characterized by the lack of superfluous details and the influence of multiple cultures, have allowed him to receive several international awards and recognitions. He has been collaborating with Zanotta since 2002.
Zanotta
Founded in 1954, Zanotta is recognized as one of the major protagonists of the history of Italian design. In particular since the 1960s, guided by the intuition and extraordinary entrepreneurial ability of its founder Aurelio Zanotta, conquer the international scene thanks to emblematic products for formal innovation. The technological research supported by the continuous evolution of the quality of materials and production processes is one of the best in the world.
The cultured and precious history of Zanotta is renewed in 2017 in the union with Tecno starting a common project. This implies the consequent strengthening of synergies and commercial strategies at the international level under the guidance of Giuliano Mosconi. It brings irony to the domestic universe, which suggests different ways to feel better in the world of the home, which for the first time has included in its catalog the works of the great masters of design, creating an unparalleled "collection" of masterpieces, awarded and exhibited in the most important design museums.
