B&B Italia - Fat-Fat & Lady-Fat D116 coffee table
Inspired by the once popular sand-filled ash trays. Hence the creation of service elements made of three variants to be used as convenient surface in various situations. Fat-Fat & Lady-Fat internal compartment can be used as a container by lifting the trays, while the external fabric and leather covers come in a wide range of colours.

Patricia Urquiola
Patricia Urquiola was born in Oviedo (Spain) in 1961, currently living and working in Milan. He attended the faculty of architecture at the Polytechnic of Madrid and then at the Polytechnic of Milan, where he graduated in 1989 with Achille Castiglioni. From 1990 to 1992 he was assistant to Achille Castiglioni and Eugenio Bettinelli at the courses held in Milan and Paris. From 1990 to 1996 he worked in the product development department for De Padova, collaborating with Vico Magistretti. In 1996 he coordinated the design team of Lissoni associati. In 2001 he opened his own design studio where he deals with design, fittings and architecture.
