Patricia Urquiola was born in Oviedo (Spain) in 1961, currently living and working in Milan. From 1990 to 1992 he was assistant to Achille Castiglioni and Eugenio Bettinelli at the courses held in Milan and Paris. From 1990 to 1996 he worked in the product development department for De Padova, collaborating with Vico Magistretti. In 1996 he coordinated the design team of Lissoni associati. In 2001 he opened his own design studio where he deals with design, fittings and architecture.
