De Castelli - Band copper coffee table 60

The Band table set composes a set of micro-architectures whose most obvious feature is lightness. Long, sharp legs support slender circular tops where the nuances of metal vibrate. In iron, brass, copper, they are multifaceted objects, able to carry the sophisticated nuances of De Castelli metals with grace and discretion. Proposed at different heights, they form a group of complementary and harmonious furnishings destined to last over time.

R&D De Castelli

R&D De Castelli; faithful to the choice of giving metal a privileged role in design experimentation, De Castelli grafts into typically industrial processes the matrix of a thought and craftsmanship that leads to completely new results. The encounter with design calls for an approach to the material based on respect for its possibilities. And by the latter we mean even the most hidden ones, which gradually emerge in a collection of serial and at the same time unique products. Not only because the creative hand is unique, but also because unique is the path that focuses on the aesthetic and functional value of the material. Each project, even if it repeats the form, is a creative act in itself, incorporating a wealth of skills and research in constant evolution. This overturns the equation that confines the coldness of metal to the margins of furnishing projects, to bring iron, brass and copper, in their many variations and finishes, back to the centre of a completely renewed scene, where they finally shine in their own light.

De Castelli

For De Castelli, metal plays a dual role. Furnishing, first of all, but at the same time interprets the architecture, the styles, the new trends.

De Castelli has made metal its language and has managed over time to build a wide range of furnishing accessories, lighting points but above all metal upholstery. Creations that at first glance could be unrelated to each other, and that instead are brought together by the presence of metal, a noble and elegant material taking on the most varied forms. De Castelli was founded in 2003, but its foundation is based on the experience of four generations of ironworking masters. It overcomes the classical conception of metal, understood as a "cold" material and relegated to the margins of design, and begins to produce objects in series, but at the same time unique, as the result of a cultural path that is renewed each time in an unrepeatable way. The continuous rise of De Castelli is witnessed by the many partnerships that the Italian company has established with the most renowned brands on the international scene. This was the collaboration with Maserati at the 89th Geneva Motor show, for which De Castelli lined the interior panels of the Quattroporte SQ4 Granlusso. For De Castelli, metal plays a dual role. Furnishing, first of all, but at the same time interprets the architecture, the styles, the new trends.
