Slide - Kami Ni coffee table

Designed by French designer Marc Sadler and inspired by the ancient Japanese art of origami as the entire collection, Kami Ni is a coffee table with an irregular and elegant line. The glass top gives the product a precious connotation and attention to detail. Perfect in indoor and outdoor environments, Kami Ni is made of polyethylene with the typical technology of rotational molding. The coffee table completes the entire Kami collection with refinement and is also available in the bright version.

Marc Sadler

Francese nato in Austria, Marc Sadler ha vissuto ed esercitato la professione di designer in Francia, Stati Uniti, Asia e Italia. Uno dei primi laureati in “esthétique industrielle” all'ENSAD di Parigi, è pioniere della sperimentazione dei materiali e della contaminazione fra le tecnologie, divenute aspetti distintivi della sua attività. All’inizio degli anni ’70 mette a punto il primo scarpone da sci in materiale termoplastico interamente riciclabile, poi industrializzato dall’italiana Caber, oggi grazie al suo eclettismo è consulente di aziende nei più svariati settori dell’industria. 4 volte vincitore del Compasso d'Oro (1994, 2001, 2008 e 2014), oltre a 4 Menzioni d’Onore (1994, 1998, 2008 e 2018) dell’ADI Associazione Design Industriale, ha ricevuto molti altri importanti riconoscimenti internazionali nel corso degli anni.

Giò Colonna Romano knows it well, when he founded SLIDE in 2002: his fancy fantasy matches perfectly with his thirty-year know how in the processing of plastic resins. The first note of amazement is the luminous furniture, which immediately became a must-have in the world of events. Since 2015, his son Marco Colonna Romano has taken over the company with his father’s same desire to grow and innovate. Thanks to a new spirit and the team of young people that work with him, SLIDE has become a beloved company for outdoor furniture: architects and interior designers from all over the world have fallen in love with the new ideas, shapes, materials and tactile textures. Indeed, SLIDE creates complete furniture and entire collections, thanks to the collaboration with some of the most famous designers of the world, such as Alessandro Mendini, Paola Navone, Fabio Novembre, Stefano Giovannoni, Marcel Wanders, Karim Rashid, Marc Sadler, Francesco Favaretto and Marcantonio.
