Tonelli - Ti small table clear glass 130x65

Ti is the new low table by Tonelli Design, designed by Elisabetta Gonzo and Alessandro Vicari.
"The two plates that support it make up the letter T on the ground that gives it its name".
Ideal for the living area, Ti is made of welded crystal, which makes the product design homogeneous and linear.
Available in transparent, extra clear and with inclined sides

Gonzo & Vicari

Elisabetta Gonzo and Alessandro Vicari who worked together from 1992 till 2003, have shared the studio EG+AV Architects Associates. Now they are cooperating at distance: Elisabetta in Milan with her Studio EG+, she holds the chair of Design at the University Accademia di Belle Arti of Roma and has taught project at the Isitituto Europeo di Design. Alessandro in Paris with the Studio +AV, he teaches at the Ecole Supérieure d’Art et Design in Orléans and at the Strate Collège of Sèvres.
Thanks to their works, they have realized public architecture, such us the Island Cemetery in Comacchio (Andil 2000 Award). They have invented products for several societies such us R.S.V.P. and Tonelli design. Their path also takes into consideration the development of limited series for: Galleria Luisa delle Piane, Edizioni Fatto ad Arte, Edizioni Galleria Colombari, San Patrignano, Artcodif.
They have collaborated with the editing of Dictionnaire d’Architecture Moderne et Contemporaine (IFA-Hazan, 1996) and they have published their works on magazines and catalogues. Some of their projects are part of the permanent collection of the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris

Thanks to the company, the furniture industry has been revolutionized  by introducing a new welding technique for flat crystal sheets in the 1980s. Indeed, they use a structural adhesive that allows the welded parts to retain transparency and increase the strength of the joint itself.
