Driade – MIMI’ sugar bowl with teaspoon

In the sugar bowl with spoon designed by Kazuyo Komoda there is the infinite love that the Orientals nourish for the little things of everyday life. The lid of the jar looks like a cutout with a teaspoon instead of a candle.

She graduated in design at Musashino University of Fine Arts in Tokyo where she began her activity in industrial design and interior architecture. Since '89 she lives and works in Milan where she opened her studio. She is engaged in the realization of interior projects, product design and as a consultant specializing in colors, materials and surfaces. Her projects are permanent collections of museums such as the Triennale di Milano, the Museum fur Angewandte Kunst Köln, Museo Maguma and Musahsino Art University Library collection.
