Zanotta – Aster white coat hanger

Aster is a coat stand with painted steel structure, designed by Alessandro Dubini in 2010.

Alessandro Dubini

Born in Lugano, Switzerland, in 1975. After graduating from the Istituto Superiore di Architettura e Design in Milan, he continued his studies at the Istituto Tecnico Superiore in Freiburg. In 2000 he graduated in Engineering with an address in Architecture. In the same year he opened his own professional studio in Como.
Currently the studio is based in the Principality of Monaco and deals with architecture and design, focusing on the development and research of new materials and technologies. His work ranges from design to architecture, from artistic direction to concept design, to art installations and advertising campaigns. His works are exhibited at various art and design fairs and festivals around the world. He has been collaborating with Zanotta since 2007.

Founded in 1954, Zanotta is recognized as one of the major protagonists of the history of Italian design. In particular since the 1960s, guided by the intuition and extraordinary entrepreneurial ability of its founder Aurelio Zanotta, conquer the international scene thanks to emblematic products for formal innovation.
