Gebrüder Thonet Vienna GmbH (GTV) consolidates its established presence in Austria by entering into a new partnership with the Schottenring 31 showroom in the historic centre of Vienna. Characterised by the large windows overlooking the street of the same name, the exhibition space will feature a wide selection of the brand’s most recent proposals, such as the Mos collection by GamFratesi, the Hideout lounge chair by Swedish design duo Front and the Promenade lounge chair by Philippe Nigro. A symbol of the company’s ongoing association with the world of design through the steady launch of new products from leading names on the international scene, these contemporary reinterpretations of the tradition of bentwood are the result of careful design research carried out by the company. To tell the story of GTV’s great history and passion for quality in the very city where Michael Thonet founded the “Gebrüder Thonet” company in 1853, an extensive selection of the Viennese brand’s most iconic products, such as the Czech chair, No. 1 and No. 811, is a must.
