Alessi - Momento wall clock steel

Initially conceived as a large-scale re-proposition of the eponymous Momento wristwatch, designed by Aldo Rossi in the 1980s, this wall clock has achieved complete autonomy over time, becoming an iconic Alessi object. The shape imprinted by the author has allowed it to stand the test of time and, above all, has given it the freedom to be developed in different versions without its intimate nature being affected.

Aldo Rossi

Milanese (1931-1997), is considered by many the greatest Italian architect of the second half of the twentieth century. He began his career as an architect working with Gardella and Zanuso. Playwright of abstraction, reduction and brevitas, with his rigorous language of primary forms, geometries and evocations in absence, he was able to create some of the most intensely poetic works of architecture and design of his time.
