Characterized by an elegant technological aesthetic, the family of sofas Suita (2010/2019) by Antonio Citterio is composed of many different components. These can be combined as desired or used as independent elements.
The Suita sofa system combines light and slender volumes with an industrial and technological aesthetic. The geometrically precise body and cushions seem to float on the slender aluminium bridge legs in this piece of furniture that pays tribute to the American design of the fifties. The Suita family of sofas includes a wide range of components, which can be used as independent elements or combined as desired to adapt to the most diverse housing solutions and meet multiple furnishing needs.

Antonio Citterio

Born in Meda in 1950, he opened his own design studio in 1972 and graduated in architecture from the Milan Polytechnic in 1975. Between 1987 and 1996 he was associated with Terry Dwan; together they built buildings in Europe and Japan. In 2000, with Patricia Viel, he founded a design company, active at an international level, which develops complex design programs, at all scales and in synergy with a qualified network of specialist consultancies. The studio has now assumed the name of “Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel”. In the industrial design sector he currently collaborates with Italian and foreign companies such as Ansorg, Arclinea, Axor-Hansgrohe, B&B Italia, Flexform, Flos, Hermès, Iittala, Kartell, Maxalto, Sanitec (Geberit Group), Technogym and Vitra. Another important fact, in 1987 and 1994 Antonio Citterio was awarded the Compasso d'Oro-ADI. Since 2006 he has been teaching architectural design at the Mendrisio Academy of Architecture (Switzerland). In 2008 he received the honor "Royal Designer for Industry" from the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufacturers & Commerce in London.
