Starting from a very simple frame, Eva Paster and Michael Geldmacher of Neuland created an extremely innovative project that received an Interior Innovation Award in 2012. The key to the success of this best-selling armchair is its versatility, which allows it to evolve almost continuously, not to mention the high-quality tailored workmanship of the upholstery. The structure is available in polyurethane, with cushions; padded and covered in hide, with the characteristic reinforced ribbing reminiscent of the backbone of an elephant; padded and upholstered in fabric, with hand-stitched seams. In addition to wood or metal legs, the chair is available with a slide-frame base, rocking base, swivel base or castors. The chair can be complemented with a removable Lips cushion, in a round or shaped version, to create the most varied colour combinations.

Kensaku Oshiro

Kensaku Oshiro was born on Okinawa Island, Japan, in 1977. After gaining a Master’s degree in Industrial Design at the Scuola Politecnica di Design in Milan in 1999, he began working with various studios until 2004, when he joined the design team at Lissoni Associati where he worked until mid-2012. In June 2012, Kensaku moved to London to join BarberOsgerby studio. In June 2015, Kensaku established his own studio in Milan. He has participated in numerous exhibitions and competitions and has obtained a range of prestigious international awards.

Kristalia

Kristalia was founded in 1994 by the ingenuity of two Friulian entrepreneurs, united by their passion for design and jazz, they discovered completely new areas for design, in which they expressed local excellence. A few years later, Kristalia was already a landmark in Italy and beyond. At the outset of the 21st century the company made the history of extending tables. In the second decade of the century it became one of the design firms that particularly attracted designers. A few years ago it also opened up to the world of hospitality contract supplies. Nowadays, once sceptical contractors are the first to contact Kristalia to develop new ideas.
