Vitra - EVO-C chair ivory

EVO-C is a successful, uncompromising replica of the principle and characteristics of the classic cantilever chair made of plastic. Thanks to current gas injection technology, plastic structures can achieve the rigidity and proven strength of cantilever steel tubular constructions.
The supporting structure consists of components similar to empty tubes flowing seamlessly into the flat surfaces of the seat and back. Morrison’s aim was to eliminate all unnecessary details. The shape of EVO-C, made of 100% recyclable polypropylene, is determined by factors essential for the achievement of stability and comfort. It combines the elastic properties of tubular steel with the comfort of an ergonomic seat shell.
