De Castelli -Library Existence wall 4 floors Stainless steel DeLabré B; "Why should bookcases always be straight long vertical flat orthogonal to always put all the books nice and straight and composed? ...And isn't it true that among the books we like to keep some small object, some memory, some useless relic of fundamental phases of our existence?" Declined in both totem and wall-mounted versions, Existence was born as a superimposition of small boxes all different, like the experiences and readings of a lifetime: a totem bookcase designed to hold books and objects in a single space built around similar modules that never repeat themselves.

Michele De Lucchi

Protagonist of radical architecture movements such as Cavart, Alchemy and Memphis. He designed lamps and furniture for the most important Italian and European companies, creating architectural projects in Italy and around the world. In 1990 he created "private production" to give continuity to the Memphis experience and, above all, to design and create experimental objects, free from commissioning, with maximum freedom of expression. Awarded the honor of Officer of the Italian Republic for merits in the field of design and architecture. He is also Full Professor in the Faculty of Design at the Milan Polytechnic and Academician at the National Academy of San Luca in Rome. He designs the Plissé electric kettle for Alessi.

De Castelli

For De Castelli, metal performs a dual function. It furnishes, first of all, but at the same time it interprets architecture, styles, and new trends.

De Castelli has made metal its language and has managed over time to build a wide range of furnishing accessories, lighting points, but above all, metal cladding. Creations that at first glance might appear unrelated to each other, and instead are brought together precisely by the presence of metal, a noble and elegant material that takes on the most diverse forms. De Castelli was founded in 2003, but rests its foundations on the experience of four generations of ironworking masters. It overcomes the classic conception of metal, understood as a "cold" material and relegated to the margins of design, and begins to produce objects in series, but at the same time unique, as the result of a cultural path that is renewed each time in an unrepeatable way. De Castelli's continued rise is evidenced by the many partnerships the Italian company has forged with the most renowned brands on the international scene. Such as the collaboration with Maserati, on the occasion of the 89th edition of the Geneva Motor Show, for which De Castelli clad the dashboards for the interior of the Quattroporte SQ4 Granlusso. For De Castelli, metal performs a dual function. It furnishes, first of all, but at the same time it interprets architecture, styles, and new trends.
