Claudio Bitetti
Born in Aosta in 1962, graduated in Industrial Design at the Faculty of Architecture in Milan, he works as a designer collaborating with companies such as Alivar, Ciatti a Tavola, Dilmos, Emmebi, Minottiitalia , Mogg, Movelight, Sturm Und Piastic and interior designer creating shops and private homes.
His approach to the project is expressed through concepts such as flexibility, dynamism of forms, decomposition to the smallest terms, reinforced by an aesthetic idea that aims at the poetization of the object without detracting from its recognizability and functional effectiveness. As Elio Franzini, professor of Aesthetics at the Milan State University, wrote, "1e forme di Claudio Bitetti, nella dialettica progettuale (e corporea) dell'io-noi, sono allora simboli, hanno cioè un senso 'aperto', un invisibile che si esibisce attraverso il visibile". Thus, in the search for the sense that goes beyond the traditional concept of value in use, Claudio Bitetti outlines, as stated by Fiaviano Celaschi, professor and vicar dean of the Faculty of Industrial Design in Milan, "a repertoire of projects that cross the space of the house, forcing those who live it to exploit the plurality of the senses, to use the double sense, to elaborate common sense"
