Mdf Italia - Pentagramma modular open bookcase

Characterized by a surprising simplicity of composition and installation, the project is developed from an extruded panel of
aluminium bound to the wall, to which various elements, open compartments or shelves are attached in suspension. And it is precisely its construction that has inspired the name: the back wall on which the accessories are applied to create the composition reminds a staff on which you write the notes to compose a melody.
Extremely flexible and versatile, this system offers the possibility to reconfigure the layout over time. Few elements are enough to obtain infinite combinations that fulfill different functions and situations of use, declined in a transversal way to all residential and contract environments: is in fact a valid solution to equip walls in the living area and in the office, but also to create compositions in the sleeping area.

The panels are completely covered in veneered wood, available in two finishes: bleached oak and canaletto walnut. The sense of the vein is always horizontal. The various modules are available in a liquid painted finish in matt colours: white, lead black and shade grey. All open modules are liquid painted in opaque colors:
white, lead black, shadow grey, Burgundi red, green
English, dunes and blue in tune with the entire MDF Italia collection.

Pitsou Kedem

The Pitsou Kedem Architects studio opened in 2000 and today consists of 11 architects. The firm is responsible for the design and planning of numerous projects in Israel and lately, also in Europe. Pitsou Kedem founded the studio after finishing his studies at the Architectural Association School of Architecture (AA). The design language and concept of the studio are based on the modernist style and his work includes the values and principles of the period, as well as the design philosophies of the modernist movement. During his formative years, the studio was involved in a constant dialogue with the fundamental principles of minimalism: reduction and moderation, clean lines for each element, Separation of structural materials as part of the process designed to avoid irrelevant in order to emphasize the meaning and refinement and the search for the essence of space. Together, all these elements lead to a strong architectural concept that does not compromise in its search for absolute truth, in its search for purity of form and form and in its goal of achieving a spatial perception of comfort and tranquility. This constant search for simplicity leads to a sophisticated and precise elements that, in turn, contribute to their uniqueness.
