Stefano Giovannoni

Born in La Spezia in 1954, architect and designer student of Buti at the University of Florence. In the early '80s he formed the King-Kong Production group together with Guido Venturini. A methane designer par excellence, he has industrial design in his blood and an ability to understand the public as few among the designers represented in this catalogue. His projects, started with the tray Girotondo (1989, designed with Guido Venturini) and with the first playful plastic objects of the series Family Follows Fiction (1993), are divided into a wide family of objects in production in the catalogues Officina Alessi, Alessi and A Alessi.
