Living Divani - Sailor bookcase

Bookcase inspired by the nautical world, which allows maximum freedom of expression for floor-ceiling or wall compositions. Steel struts with hexagonal section. Steel uprights available in matt transparent painted finish, painted patinated brass color (and finish with transparent varnish) or painted gunmetal gray.  Maximum mast height: floor-ceiling version, standard mast height within
269 cm; maximum upright height: 305 cm. Wall version 250 cm with plate prepared for wall mounting (through fisher) and wall support guaranteed by black PVC rods.
Shelves "keel" available in sizes 75/90/120/150 cm depth 33 cm, made of extruded aluminum with top shelf in the finishes and heads in solid wood. Shelves available in the finishes: Striped Grey multilaminar wood veneered top with lower part and matt black painted heads; top veneered in bleached maple with lower part and Canaletto walnut "rigatino" heads.
Container available in sizes 90/120 cm with depth 32 cm made of MDF with flap mechanism with integrated hinge
and "push and pull" system for opening and closing. Container available in the following combinations of finishes: flap door and back veneered only in the external part in Striped Grey multilaminar wood veneer and edge, bottom and inside container always painted matt black; Drop-down door, back and inside container veneered Canaletto walnut "rigatino".

David Lopez Quincoces

David Lopez Quincoces (Madrid, 1980) graduated in Art at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid in 2004 and obtained a Master’s Degree in Interior Design at the Politecnico di Milano.

Since 2005, he has been living in Milan and working with Piero Lissoni on numerous interior design and architectural projects such as showrooms, exhibition stands, apartments, offices, hotels, and resorts, both in Italy and abroad.

After concluding his collaboration with Lissoni in 2007, he opened his own studio (Quincoces-Dragò & partners), which has offices in Madrid and Milan and is currently involved in the following sectors: architecture, graphics, interior, and industrial design.

Among his major clients are: Living Divani, Lema, Bitossi, Oluce, Zucchetti Kos, MDF Italia, Acerbis, Gandia Blasco, Ranieri, and Gervasoni.

Living Divani is an Italian company, founded in 1969 from an intuition of Renata Pozzoli and Luigi Bestetti, company that has made its trademark of upholstery. Inoltre ad affiancare l’architetto Piero Lissoni, negli anni è stato sia designer dal calibro internazionale. Infatti questi, con l’azienda condividono il tratto e l’approccio progettuale, così come è stato inserito a collezione progetti di giovani talenti giunti all’azienda attraverso un puntuale lavoro di talent scouting tra le nuove leve del design: visioni differenti che sebbene uniche nelle loro individualità, hanno lo stesso comune denominatore, il tema dell’armonia e della ‘delicatezza’ delle forme, l’elogio alla linearità, la pulizia formale.

Infine Accanto alla zona giorno si sono armoniosamente sviluppate la zona notte e l’outdoor. I letti sono il naturale sviluppo dei divani, forme sobrie e neutrali.
