Bench in solid wood made with a special and exclusive plywood of five different types of wood (Canaletto walnut, mahogany, cherry, oak and ash). Seat reinforced with a hidden metal bar. Modules A and B can be combined to create compositions, according to the patterns shown, in order to have the continuity of the decoration.

Ripples, winner of the 2004 Compasso d'Oro, consists of a laminated composite of five different solid woods. Slide your hand along the surface to enjoy seamless transitions between walnut, mahogany, cherry, oak and ash. This enveloping seat, carved with skill, is finished by hand to produce an elegant polychromatic effect resulting from the ductility of the wood. True icon of international design, Ripples is a bench suitable for home users, commercial environments and public spaces.
After graduating from Tokyo University in 1965, in 1971 he founded his own studio Toyo Ito & Associates, Architects. He has received numerous awards, including the Golden Lion of the International Architecture Exhibition - La Biennale di Venezia, the Royal Gold Medal of the Royal Institute of British Architects, the Pritzker Architecture Prize. In the 70s, he tried to erase the conventional meaning of his works through minimalist tactics, to then develop a lightness in an architecture that resembles air and wind.
