Flou - Amal double bed

The important double bed Amal fits in classy contexts. Enhanced by the elegant detail of the metal profiles that, on the sides of the headboard, "pinch" the coating, enhance the softness of the whole. The three profiles finishes (glossy gold, matt burnished, glossy black nickel) are designed to facilitate matching with the various types of coating. Available with Leonardo base, with storage base or with base with electric movement. Base and headboard, totally removable, can be covered in fabric, leather or eco-leather.

Carlo Colombo

Carlo Colombo graduated in Milan in 1993 and immediately began collaborating with Cappellini on projects such as the Archimede bed and the ZigoZago carpet. In parallel with the activity of consultant for furniture companies, he has taken part in the renovation of buildings, such as showrooms, offices, restaurants and villas. One of his most interesting projects is the Hong Kong Louvre Gallery, an exhibition space for top quality design products. Today, as well as with Poltrona Frau and Cappellini, he is working for companies such as Arflex, Moroso, Poliform, Varenna and Flou. In 2004 he received the “Designer of the Year” award in Tokyo and, as an Italian member, held industrial design conferences in Italy, Israel, Greece, Portugal, Slovenia, Ukraine, Australia, Russia, England, Brazil and China.
