Magis - Piña low armchair

Piña design from the desire to create a new concept of seating, combining comfortable steel rods woven with solid wood legs. With the weight of the seated body, the rods create a characteristic "tufted effect" on the back of the cushion, adding to the very special character of this design. This very simple but unique idea has given life to an entire family of furniture: in addition to this armchair, the Piña collection includes a comfortable low chair with footrest, a comfortable table and a fun rocking chair.  Also suitable for outdoor use (the version with steel tube legs treated for the outside), the Piña collection is made even more versatile by the choice of different finishes, perfect for any style and setting.
Low armchair with legs in natural or painted solid ash. Shell in polyester painted steel rod. Seat/back cushion in fire-retardant polyurethane foam (class 1IM) with removable cover in fabric.

Jaime Hayón

Born in Madrid in 1974, as a teenager Jaime Hayon became passionate about the skate and graffiti art subculture and studied industrial design between Spain and France. He then moved to Italy to continue his training at the Fabrica research center, founded by Benetton in Treviso, where he directed the design department until 2003. In 2000 he founded his own studio and after three years began to devote himself exclusively to his designs, becoming one of the most famous and sought-after designer-artists in the world. Time included him in its list of the 100 most important creatives of our time, and Wallpaper honored his innovative style with the award of "Breakthrough Creator."

Magis

A story of ideas, creativity and experimentation. Since 1976. This is the know-how that Magis brings to the world of design.
