Fully upholstered in fabric, the Juli Soft armchair sits on top of a base that comes in following versions: a goblet base with a polished chrome finish, matte white, matte black, or matte mud; with 4 ash legs with a bleached finish, oak stained, wengé stained, or black stained; with 4 or 5 aluminum legs in a polished aluminum version, matte white, matte black, or matte mud; 4 tubular iron legs with a polished chrome, matte white, matte black, or matte mud finish; with a sled base, with versions in polished chrome, matte white, matte black, or a matte mud finish.

Werner Aisslinger
Werner Aisslinger born in Germany, began his career as s a freelancer for large established studios. In 1993 he founded his own studio based in Berlin. He has won the 'Il Compasso d'Oro' award numerous times as well as other major European awards, and is the author of iconic pieces that are part of the permanent collections of MoMa, the Vitra Design Museum and the Metropolitan Museum in New York. He is convinced that design should fundamentally be a means for exploring materials and technologies, he focuses on the experimental use of new material elements, such as fibreglass, gel, aluminium foam, neoprene and three-dimensional fabrics. The results of his research are represented in the Juli swivelling armchair, designed by Aisslinger for Cappellini in numerous versions: Juli Plastic, Juli Comfort and Juli Soft, and by the Hobo Contract sofa. To this day, he continues to ongoing collaborations with Zanotta, Porro and Magisprogetta.
Cappellini is an Italian design company, founded in Carugo in 1946 by Enrico Cappellini. Synonymous with originality, contemporaneity and experimentation, the brand produces quality furnishing elements for every type of space, residential and working. Born as an artisan company, the collections are characterized by simplicity and personality. Designed by the great names of international design, often discovered by the talent scout and corporate designer Giulio Cappellini.
