Minotti - Bergère Jensen armchair + footrest
An armchair that represents a combination of values: design combined with comfort, the most advanced technology and the tradition of the Italian school of upholstery. There are the technology and the high Italian school of upholstery, design and comfort. The external structure of the bergère guarantees stability to the volumes, while the goose down padding invites abandonment. The caneté that runs along the perimeter of the structure emphasizes the design, while the hinge, visible on the front of the seat, has both decorative and practical value.
Jensen’s originality and uniqueness are more fully expressed in the design of the base. The triangular section of die-cast aluminum is in fact a succession of harmonious curves, changes in thickness, roundness.
Structure
Metal with elastic belts with high rubber component, drowned in fire-retardant polyurethane foam and additional foam insert with a softer share coupled to the back. The front of the structure is covered with a quilt in canalized goose down that gives softness and softness giving the back of the chair a cozy support.
Base
Moulded in die-cast aluminium (exclusive design by Minotti Studio) and painted in pewter colour with extra-gloss anti-touch or glossy brushed finish, transparent varnish applied subsequently. Protective sliding in Hytrel ³ (soft scratch-resistant rubber). The base is available with swivel movement with return, rotation of 60 χ per side - or fixed.
Rodolfo Dordoni
Rodolfo Dordoni was born in Milan in 1954 where he graduated in architecture in 1979. From 1979 to 1989 he was the Head of art direction and coordination of the corporate image for Cappellini International. It has a wide collection of product design types including lamps and furniture, kitchens, bathroom accessories, objects and rugs. He also was the Head of art direction of Artemide, Cappellini (from 1979 to 1989), Fontana Arte, Foscarini (lamps), Minotti (since 1998) and Roda (since 2006). Today, he is working for several brands including: Artemide, Cassina, Driade, Emu, Ernestomeda, Fiam, Flos, Flou, Fontana Arte, Foscarini, Minotti, Molteni, Moroso, Roda, Venini and many others. He founded Dordoni Architetti in collaboration with the architects Alessandro Acerbi and Luca Zaniboni. Since he has worked in his studio for many years, they focused their work on both architectural design and interior design. They also designed worldwide houses and residential buildings, industrial and commercial areas such as offices, shops and showrooms, restaurants, hotels, as well as many exhibition stands for several companies in several sectors.
