Gamfratesi
Studio Gamfratesi was founded in 2006 by Danish architect Stine Gam and Italian architect Enrico Fratesi. The firm is based in Copenhagen. Gamfratesi design draws its creativity from a fusion of tradition and innovation in an experimental approach to the materials and techniques chosen. Each with their own experience, Stine Gam and Enrico Fratesi draw from the classic Danish furniture style and craftsmanship, as well as a conceptual and intellectual Italian approach. Understanding tradition and actively addressing it to laboratory activities allows its expansion. From this substrate of cultural blends they create a design that respectfully reflects tradition by inserting exclusive stories, symbols and associations expressed in a minimalist way. Gamfratesi aims to create furniture that illustrate the process and techniques that created it and that reflect a persistent exploration of the different border area between harmony and disharmony. Participating in numerous exhibitions: Milan, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Cologne, New York, Shanghai, London, Berlin, etc
