The structure entirely in curved wood is designed to wrap and contain the sinuosity of the armchair acting as a support for the comfortable and voluminous seat and for the soft and fun backrest, picked up by two beech curls - formal styling style of GTV par excellence - just like a kind of hairstyle. The result is a deliberately feminine armchair, not slender and filiform, but curvaceous and curvilinear, characterized by a strongly iconic presence, suitable to characterize a domestic space but also to create relaxing environments in the contract environment.

The price refers to the armchair upholstered in fabric class A/C.O.M

Wiener GTV Design Thonet - Jannis Lounge armchair

Thonet Poltrona Jannis lounge faggio nero decoro in ottone longho design palermo

Dainelli Studio, the creative duo formed by Leonardo and Marzia Dainelli, designs JANNIS, a collection of upholstered furniture with a strong contract connotation. Two and three seater sofa and lounge chair, calibrated in size and in dry volumes. A contemporary rigor, inspired by the past, defines JANNIS, which reveals its personality in detail: the wooden structure, light to the eye but solid, it holds the unique seat cushion and the backrest and is characterized by the metal terminals with brass finish of the feet. The front leg rises to define the thin profile of the armrest and closes in the semi-ball tip always in brass finish. The structure and legs are connected by steam curved beech arches, an element of continuity with the heritage of Gebrüder Thonet Vienna.

Dainelli Studio

It was founded in 2007 by Leonardo and Marzia Dainelli, a couple of designers and architects specializing respectively in product design and interior design. The studio based in Milan and Pisa realizes interior projects for public and private spaces and has active collaborations with prestigious companies in the world of furniture. The continuous aesthetic and formal research, distinctive feature of Dainelli Studio, is realized in a refined design, attentive to proportions, harmony between shapes, colors, ---materials and finishes. Each project, in fact, brings with it a deep design culture combined with knowledge of techniques and industrial and craft production processes. The ability to dialogue at the same time both with the environment and with the individual product -thanks to the different know-how of Leonardo and Marzia - allows you to give life to every element necessary for the construction of a completely customized project: from the single object created to the total look of a complete habitat.

Wiener GTV Design Thonet

Inspiring this unique detail was the coin with the image of the brand that was historically spent internally within Thonet production facilities throughout Europe.
