Leonardo Fortino

Leonardo Fortino was born in 1986 in Crotone. At a young age, Leonardo collaborates with a painter and sculptor who owes his passion for materials and interest in art that lead him to move to Rome where he graduated in Industrial Design at La Sapienza University in 2009, the year in which he founded the studio Spigoli Vivi, which deals with self-production and installations. In 2013 Leonardo Fortino Design was born, a product and interior design studio for companies and individuals. Selected to participate in Italian and international workshops, in 2017 he decided to leave Rome to move to Milan, where he collaborated with architectural firms and companies on design projects, with particular attention to artistic direction and product research/development. His design method passes through perceptions and colors; he loves to experiment, combine experiences, combine different materials and finally simplify. His works have been presented at international exhibitions such as the Salone del Mobile in Milan and Tent London, in exhibition spaces and galleries including Triennale in Milan and CAFA Art Museum in Beijing. Since 2019 he has been collaborating with Driade in the development of new products in the R&D team.
