Thomas Heatherwick

Founded by Thomas Heatherwick in 1994, Heatherwick Studio is known for its work in architecture, urban infrastructure, sculpture, design and strategic thinking. Today a team of 160 people, including architects, designers and manufacturers, work in the studio/laboratory of Kings Cross, London. The core of the studio’s activity is its deep commitment to finding innovative design solutions, with a focus on artistic thinking and the latent potential of materials and craftsmanship. The goal is achieved through a working methodology that includes a collaborative rational investigation, undertaken with a spirit of curiosity and experimentation.
