Federico Delrosso

Federico Delrosso, architect and designer of Biella origins, has been working internationally since 2001 in his Milan studio Federico Delrosso Architects, dealing with architecture, interior and product design.
Respectful of the natural or urban contexts and the spirit of the places, understood as energy and conscience imprinted in the memory of the spaces, Federico Delrosso conceived projects with a refined lightness characterized by a minimal-naturalist approach.
The homogeneity of the materials often left to the natural and raw aspect and the study of light, perceived as an emotional and tangible component of each project, represent the essential elements of his stylistic research and the very idea of architecture.
The latter is in fact conceived as the bearer of "a soul of its own to be sought in every detail between light and shadow to reach that delicate balance that makes it independent from those who created it, live or will live". In the field of design he designed important furniture and lighting collections for brands such as Davide Groppi and Henry Timi. The wall lamp Mima (2007, for Davide Groppi) receives the signal for the XXI Compasso d'Oro 2008 and becomes part of the permanent collection of ADI (Association for Industrial Design). The Hashi floor lamp, designed for Davide Groppi, has been selected for the ADI INDEX 2019 and
will compete for the Compasso d'Oro 2020. Hashi also won the Eccellenze della Lombardia 2019 award.
