Irene Goldberg

Born in Venezuela in 1970, Irene moved to Israel in 1983, and graduated from the Mackintosh School of Architecture in Glasgow in 1997. He worked with Pitsou Kedem Architects between 2005 and 2017, following the design schemes and concept development of many of the studio’s projects, including commercial spaces. In 2014, Irene and Pitsou founded the brand OBJECT - small scale design - a collaboration in which the two create everyday objects that complement the architectures they build. Since 2018, Irene is the sole owner of the brand.

In 2017 Irene founded Baranowitz Goldberg Architects with Sigal Baranowitz. The wide-ranging experience of the two founders, which is expressed in different fields of design, allows the work of the studio to range through all degrees of design. Whether it’s an object or a building, finding the spark that triggers the creative process is what underpins their work.
