Peter Traag

He was born in 1979 in Telegen in the Netherlands. He studied design, first in Arnhem, and then at the Royal College in London, where he now lives and works. Before graduating, he began collaborating with Mike Smith in 2003, designing exhibitions and installations. At the same time he also started to develop his own design projects. Sponge, his first piece produced on an industrial scale and made for Edra, arrived after his designs had been exhibited at the Design Museum in London and had collaborated with the British Council, also in London. She also received a scholarship from the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation.
