Studio Demakersvan

Demakersvan is a collective of Dutch designers. This Dutch design studio was deliberately hidden behind this name, meaning "the one who produces". The references of these designers are impressive: Fatboy, Droog design, Swarovsky and many others... At the White Moon Gallery we present a miracle of industrial production, the result of a high technicality, The Cinderella Table.
The Cinderella project was born thanks to new industrial methods, this table is unique, as if it came out of a hand drawing, carved from a single block, totally not buildable by the human hand, its shapes and the transparency of its marble ( ultra-light only 8 mm thick), the Cenerentola table is the pure result of the use of mass production tools for art objects.
Already promoted as an icon of the 21st century, this extraordinary-shaped piece of furniture was created in 2005, the designer Verhoeven called his table "The Cinderella", in reference to the 5-saw robotic transformation tool. Cinderella is a virtuoso piece, the perfect example of haute couture design that exists only in a limited series, where each piece is unique... Demakersvan lives and works in Rotterdam.
