An ingenious mechanism inspired by watchmaking allows the insertion of three metal rods inside the sphere, thus forming the structure that supports the glass globe. The movable rods open inside the diffuser and thanks to the extreme precision of the interlocking geometries and the balance of weights support the glass sphere.
