Lorenzo De Bartolomeis

Lorenzo De Bartolomeis studied industrial design at Politecnico di Milano and Central Saint Martins College in London. In 2004 he began to collaborate with Isao Hosoe participating in several projects in the field of furniture, household products, industrial machinery and medical devices. On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the group Loccioni has created together with Isao Hosoe the game Play40 published by Corraini.
In early 2010 he founded ddpstudio with Filippo Poli and Gabriele Diamanti.
In 2014 he began collaborating with the Italian Institute of Technology for robotics projects applied to rehabilitation.
He has received several international awards including the Chicago Athenaeum Good Design Award, the ADI Innovation Award and the Compasso d'Oro and Honorable Mention. Lecturer in Advanced Design at the Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna.
