They were both born in Prague in the 90s, Matěj Janský and Cyril Dunděra first met there as Furniture Studio classmates at Arts and Crafts Secondary school at the age of 16 – their collaboration started immediately since then. The duo studied Architecture at the CTU Prague and Furniture & Interior Design at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague, and at the Konstfack in Stockholm.
Their professional career started at the Swedish Claesson Koivisto Rune studio and, thanks to collaboration with Rossana Orlandi and exhibiting at the Salone del Mobile in Milan, a strong connection to the world of Italian design was built. The Studio now collaborates with a wide variety of brands emphasized in excellent craftmanship from glassmaking to fashion.
