Ximi Li

Ximi Li holds a Master in Furniture Design from the Politecnico di Milano and a Bachelor in Industrial Design from the China Academy of Art.              Before founding Ximi Li Design, Ximi worked for the famous designers Andrea Branzi and Luca Trazzi in Italy, developing a unique style characterized by the synesthesia between Italian and Chinese culture.

Since 2017, Ximi Li Design Studio has been trying to explore the cultural elements of the world, reflecting on their historical roots with the aim of communicating through rigorous and creative design languages. The Shanghai-based studio is active in furniture design, interior design and direction.

In 2019, Ximi was named ‘Rising Talents China’ by Maison & Object. In the same year, Ximi was awarded one of the ‘40 under 40’ prominent designers shaping Hong Kong and Greater China by Perspective Magazine, and one of the 'Generation T 100' future leaders by Tatler.

Since 2021, Ximi lectures creative design course at China Academy of Art.
