Tito Agnoli

Tito Agnoli was born in Peru, Italy, in 1931. A trained painter, he returned to Italy after the war and studied with Sironi, before graduating in Architecture in 1959. He became an assistant to Gio Ponti and Carlo de Carlo and from the early 1950s onwards collaborated with a number of prestigious Italian design companies. He had been nominated several times for the Compasso d'Oro and in 1986 won the Compasso d'Oro at the Neocon in Chicago. Some of his pieces are held in the collection of MoMa in New York.
