Emma Silvetris

Emma Silvetris; born in Salerno in 1962, lives and works in Bari. After graduating in literature, specializing in foreign literature and Art History, she devoted herself to teaching and research. Since 1990 he has been involved in design, and specifically participates in the activities of the Studio Speciale of Bari. Eclectic and versatile designer, she manages to combine in her projects soft and feminine shapes, the rigor and elegance of geometry, the use of symbols of ancient tradition. In the field of design, the collaboration with Alessi is important. In this case, the Mediterranean fruit bowl celebrates coral, transferring into metal the magical and symbolic aura of the underwater world.
