Reality Lab.

A research and development team led by Issey Miyake and two staff members, Manabu Kikuchi (textile engineer) and Sachiko Yamamoto (technical engineer) and composed of a group of designers and model engineers, some of them young. The team was formed in 2007 and it is a team based on the principle of collaboration and teamwork. Their goal is, through the research and development of materials and techniques, to explore the future of the realization of objects, from clothing to industrial products. Always try to create products reflecting what people need and find new ways to stimulate creative production in Japan.
